AI versions of Churchill, Kahlo and Gandhi in Question Time

The BBC’s current debate program Question Time began as usual this week with a group of famous people who all died decades ago.

Winston Churchill, Frida Khalo, Mahatma Gandhi and Emmeline Pankhurst briefly introduced the topic of the program: Artificial Intelligence (AI).

As the program continued, the follow-up questions of AI for the present and beyond were discussed.

The real panel consisted of Darren Jones, Chief Secretary to the Prime Minister; Julia Lopez, Shadow Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology; Mo Gawdat, author, entrepreneur and former chief business officer at Google X; Laura Gilbert, senior director of AI at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change; and Victor Riparbelli, founder and CEO of London-based AI company Synthesia.
