As a musician and music lover, the artificial intelligence revolution scares me in many ways. AI apps like Suno have already shown that they have exceptional potential to generate catchy and professionally produced music in certain genres. So it’s not hard to imagine a world in which, for example, session musicians, jingle writers and providers of educational music for children could soon lose their livelihoods to machines.
