Target rises as AI evidence builds

The move from USD 700.00 to USD 725.00 represents a 3.57 percent increase in Wells Fargo’s target. Analyst Michael Turrin cited Microsoft’s AI monetization, November’s Ignite conference and new segment reporting as the factors behind the revised view, Yahoo Finance reported on October 1, 2026.

The next reporting structure will combine Microsoft’s current three segments into Agents and Infra and Devices and Consumer. The revised disclosure is expected to show Azure revenue in monetary terms while excluding non-consumption components from the Azure metric, giving investors a cleaner measure of cloud demand.
