SEA.AI, a global leader in AI-powered vision systems for maritime security, received a special mention at the DAME Design Awards 2025 for its groundbreaking Watchkeeper system. The prestigious award recognizes exceptional innovation and design in marine technology and solidifies Watchkeeper’s position as the new standard for visionary maritime security.
The DAME jury praised Watchkeeper in their official report, saying: “This modular, AI-powered observation platform improves situational awareness by alerting users to floating hazards, man-overboard events and marine mammals. With 4K low-light and optional thermal imaging, this welcome design iteration brings SEA.AI’s now-established technology to a lower price point and smaller form factor, making it accessible to a broader range of users.”
Housed in a slim, weatherproof housing (110 × 163 × 86 mm, approx. 1 kg), Watchkeeper’s optical and thermal sensors detect people or buoys overboard at a distance of up to 220 meters.
