Rowland reflects on copyright reforms for the “age of AI.”

Attorney General Michelle Rowland says she is considering ways to adjust the copyright system to encourage investment in artificial intelligence while balancing the need to fairly compensate rights holders.

Rowland reiterated the Albanian government’s position on Monday that it would not water down copyright laws to allow AI labs to train their models on Australian data, but left the door open for other changes.
