Samsung Electronics, one of the first brands to bring a truly portable home projector to market with the launch of the Freestyle in 2023, is preparing to unveil its latest development: the new AI-powered Freestyle+.
Building on the compact design of the original Freestyle, the Freestyle+ significantly reduces the need for manual setup and adjustment. This improvement is powered by Samsung’s new AI OptiScreen technology, which allows users to simply point the projector at a wall or ceiling and start watching TV almost immediately.
AI OptiScreen is a suite of intelligent features that includes 3D Auto Keystone, Real-time Focus, Screen Adjustment and Wall Calibration. 3D Auto Keystone automatically corrects image distortion when projecting onto uneven surfaces, while real-time focus ensures the image remains sharp even when the projector is moved or rotated.
