Grok takes sexual images of children as users test AI guardrails

Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence chatbot Grok has been posting sexualized images of minors on the social media platform in recent days in response to user requests

Grok created and posted images of minors in minimal clothing, in apparent violation of its own acceptable use policy, which prohibits the sexualization of children. The offending images were later removed.

Representatives for xAI, the company that develops Grok and operates X, did not respond to requests for comment. Chatbot Grok posted on Friday in response to user questions, confirming xAI employee Parsa Tajik, who previously posted that “the team is looking at further tightening” its guardrails.
