Oracle Corporation ORCL delivered a remarkable performance in its fiscal third quarter 2026 results, with shares rising more than 10% in extended trading after a period of underperformance.

Shares of Oracle have lost 45.9% over the past six months, underperforming the Zacks Computer and Technology sector’s gain of 2.3% and the Zacks Computer Software industry’s decline of 25.4%.

For the quarter ended February 28, 2026, total revenues were $17.2 billion, an increase of 22% year-over-year in U.S. dollars. Non-GAAP EPS came in at $1.79, beating the consensus estimate by 5.29%. This was the first quarter in over 15 years in which both total organic revenue and non-GAAP EPS grew by 20% or more.

Despite the impressive headlines, investors weighing whether to get in now or wait may benefit from a measured look at the bigger picture.
