Netflix has hired Google Cloud executive Darshan Kantak as VP of Ads Platform, reporting to Amy Reinhard, president of advertising at Netflix.
Kantak will lead the streamer’s global advertising, engineering, data and insights teams — key to constructing the platform’s operational and reporting utilities for the company’s Ads Suite partners.
“I look forward to welcoming Darshan to Netflix. He has deep knowledge of the advertising industry, as well as vast leadership experience scaling ads organizations at fast-growing companies,” said Reinhard. “Darshan’s expertise spans from innovative technical skills to unique AI tooling and operations, all of which I’m excited for him to bring to the Netflix ads business.”
