And as if protesters outside wearing Stop AI t-shirts and a judge punishing the billionaires for their pre-trial social media jousting weren’t enough, Musk’s warning was about one Terminator Scenario for the world under AI has really laid the groundwork.
Musk is playing his role as a protector of AI – and indeed humanity – from a technology that he told the court could “kill us all.” The billionaire tech titan was the first to testify in the case as his lawyers opened proceedings.
The courtroom drama promises to be a drama with maximum exaggeration.
