Google Wallet has added yet another helpful feature for travelers. For those using Android 16, the app now displays Live Updates for flights on the lock screen.
As 9to5Google reports, these Live Updates begin showing up hours before take-off, provided you have added your boarding pass to the Wallet app. You’ll see updates for take-off time and estimated arrival on the notifications bar. If you connect to the Wi-Fi on board, the feature will also display a progress bar for your journey.
These live updates can be useful, especially when you are rushing to the airport. The feature was first teased in October and has now begun rolling out to eligible users.

The notification is fairly large, with your airline’s logo on the right. Tapping the notification opens the boarding pass in the app, where you can find more details about your flight.
