Google is gearing up for a very special art show.
After combing through “tens of thousands” Doodle for Google submissions, the tech behemoth (and search engine) is showcasing five students’ artwork on the Google homepage on April 28.
The annual art contest is open to K-12 students who are either U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. legal residents.
From music to hair, doodlers were invited to illustrate what made them special: their “superpower.”
“Each of these students demonstrated exceptional creativity, a unique approach to the prompt and artistic skill,” Selly Sallah, product marketing manager for Brand Studio, said in a news release.
In addition to the homepage exhibition, each of the five finalists will be awarded some Google technology and swag, a celebration in their hometown and a $10,000 college scholarship.
