Google and YouTube return to Movies Anywhere, here’s how to re-link your account

Movies Anywhere was one of the unintended casualties faced during Google and Disney’s brief feud throughout October and November, but as promised, both Google Play and YouTube have returned to the movie syncing service.

Disney — which owns Movies Anywhere — quietly removed Google as a partner from the service around the time a broadcasting agreement for Disney-owned channels on YouTube TV ended without renewal. Although the cable outage only lasted a couple of weeks, Movies Anywhere users have had to make do without Google Play or YouTube support for nearly two months now. However, as of today, Google is back as a partner service, and you can reconnect your account with just a couple of clicks.
