Mass layoffs across the board oracle Many experienced professionals were looking for new opportunities. One of them is Shannon Fisher, former director of Restaurant sales for the Southeast at Oracle, who recently shared her experiences in a post about losing her job and coping with the difficult job market.
Fisher wrote that she was part of a “mass layoff” at Oracle three weeks earlier. The Dismissal marked a major change in her professional life. She said it was the first time in her career that she was unemployed.

“Three weeks ago I was part of the mass layoffs at Oracle and for the first time in my career I was unemployed,” Fisher wrote.
She said she spent the first two days after release recovering emotionally and mentally.
“The first two days I gave myself grace. Time to rethink, reflect and really think about what I want next,” she wrote.
