While it may not be the most well-known AI chatbot, Anthropic’s Claude has garnered a lot of attention for its research-focused capabilities. It also made headlines after the company refused to play ball with the Pentagon, leading to an ongoing lawsuit. With all this, you might be wondering what all the fuss is about. Here are eight ways to get started with Claude.
1. Import reminders and settings
Like many AI chatbots, Claude attempts to personalize its responses to you based on details from previous conversations. But if you’re new to Claude, there’s no memory or chat history for the AI to see. That’s why Anthropic has made it easy to import your history from ChatGPT or another service. To resolve this issue, visit Claude’s memory import page. If you’re already logged in to the web, open it Settings > Privacyand then click Administer button next to Storage preferences and select Start import.
