Crusoe Lands Perplexity as Cloud Customer in Multiyear Nvidia GB300 Deal — BigGo Finance

Crusoe, the AI infrastructure provider positioning itself as a challenger to established cloud giants, has secured a multiyear agreement to power Perplexity’s artificial intelligence workloads, marking another significant win in the company’s aggressive expansion into the cloud services market.

The partnership, announced Monday, gives the AI search company access to Nvidia’s (NVDA) latest-generation GB300 processors through Crusoe Cloud, spanning the full model lifecycle from frontier model training to production inference. Perplexity will train models on Crusoe’s dedicated Nvidia GB300 NVL72-powered clusters and serve them through the company’s Managed Inference service, consolidating operations that currently span multiple cloud vendors including Amazon Web Services.

Financial terms were not disclosed, leaving investors without a clear benchmark to measure the deal’s significance against Crusoe’s approximately $13 billion contract with Jane Street signed earlier this month. Still, the agreement adds another prominent AI company to Crusoe’s growing customer roster and underscores the persistent scarcity value of cutting-edge Nvidia hardware.
