Citrix’s acquisition notice, dated September 1, 2026, states that the company completed its purchase of Numecent, gaining Cloudpaging and Cloudpager. It also commits Citrix to supporting existing Numecent customers throughout the transition.
The transaction immediately changes ownership of the two products, but it does not mean that every proposed Citrix integration is already available. ChannelPro’s independent coverage, published September 3, describes the deal as an expansion of Citrix DaaS across physical and virtual Windows environments and notes that its financial terms were not disclosed.
What Citrix acquired
Citrix acquired two complementary components of Numecent’s Windows application-delivery system. Cloudpaging packages applications into isolated containers and streams them on demand to Windows endpoints, avoiding a conventional installation or changes to the base desktop image.
