A local broker is offering Australian investors the chance to buy a stake in an Nvidia-backed American start-up that is developing “open” artificial intelligence models designed to compete with China’s DeepSeek and could be valued at up to US$30 billion ($42 billion).
Shaw and Partners sent a message to clients this week inviting them to participate in a Series C funding round for Reflection AI, a New York company founded by former Google DeepMind researchers Misha Laskin and Ioannis Antonoglou, with a minimum investment of $25,000.
