Software stocks fell on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT) after a report about new AI tools from Amazon reignited fears of disruption that has rocked the sector in recent months. Atlassian lost 8.4 percent.
Amazon’s cloud computing division, Amazon Web Services, is developing an AI agent to automate some functions for sales, business development and other groups affected by the tech giant’s sweeping job cuts, The Information reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
