Greek startups in the popular fields of artificial intelligence, software as a service and healthcare technologies have been on the radar of both local and foreign investors this year, while Greek-made defense innovations have also been making waves recently. So far this year, over 732 million euros have been invested in 95 deals with more than 90 startups. “AI is at the forefront and is at the top again this year,” noted Filippos Zakopoulos, Managing Partner of Found.ation, analyzing the key results of the new survey “FWD Greece: Innovation Pulse 2025-2026”, which maps the Greek ecosystem, as well as the estimates for its trajectory in the coming years.
