Young workers need honesty about the impact of AI on jobs

During the Industrial Revolution, French workers threw their shoes, called “sabots,” into the machines that robbed them of their livelihood. The English term “sabotage” is derived from “Sabot” – or so the story goes.

As a 20-year-old student, I feel a little envious of the French saboteurs: after all, they had an easy target.
