The social media platform, which has about half a billion monthly active users, will ban people from earning revenue from posts for 90 days if they post AI-generated videos of an armed conflict without adding a notice that they were created with AI. A second violation would result in a permanent ban, it was said on Tuesday evening, after the first days of the conflict in Iran were marked by a flood of fake online recordings.
