Management had forecast fourth-quarter total cloud revenue growth of 46% to 50% in U.S. dollars and total cloud revenue growth of 19% to 21% in U.S. dollars, setting a high bar that was made plausible but not guaranteed by the development of Oracle’s cloud infrastructure. Remaining performance obligations at the end of the fiscal third quarter were $553 billion, up 325% year-over-year, with most of the increase tied to large-scale AI contracts, providing a significant conversion pipeline for the reported quarter.
