Oracle Corp (NYSE:ORCL) Stocks rose on Monday as improving geopolitical sentiment boosted tech stocks and broader market momentum.
The stock rose alongside large-cap technology companies as investors returned to stocks, sending the Nasdaq up 1.38% and the S&P 500 up 1.33%, with the technology sector gaining about 1.25%.
Geopolitical easing supports rally
The markets then recovered President Donald Trump said the United States and Iran had productive talks and ordered a five-day pause over possible attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure.
He had previously warned Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours or risk US attacks. The government is also reportedly considering a diplomatic exit tied to reopening the strait, eliminating uranium stockpiles, halting missile programs, allowing inspections and ending support for proxy groups.
