According to the Eurobarometer survey on future digital education needs, 64% of Europeans strongly and somewhat agree that everyone must have AI skills by 2030.
Since 2021, the use of AI technologies among European companies has increased organically by 12.30%. Almost a third – 32.7% – of Europeans admit to having used AI tools.
Sharp differences in AI use across EU countries suggest that while the use of generative AI for formal educational and professional purposes is not despised and even encouraged in some places, it may still be taboo in other countries – reflected in extremely low (and highly unlikely) self-declared use of AI tools.
