White House Backs IBM’s $2 Billion Quantum Computing Foundry

The Trump administration has agreed to award a $1 billion grant to International Business Machines Corp. to build a foundry for producing quantum computing chips, part of a broad strategy to build up the emerging industry and expand the country’s technology leadership.
