There is considerable debate about how much AI will impact certain jobs, and a new study suggests that the impact will change more than half of people’s working hours.
That’s according to a new survey report from the Wharton School and Accenture, which estimates that more than 50% of work time is likely to be influenced by AI agents.
The analysis defines a “minimum viable” AI-driven organization as one with at least 60 enterprise agents – 35 digital and 25 physical – that can support work in various functions such as research and development, manufacturing, human resources, finance and customer service. A company that pursues “aggressive modeling scenarios.” The researchers predict that growth of 10% can be expected.
