Minutes after Donald Trump posted his rant about Pope Leo being “weak on crime” and “terrible on foreign policy,” he posted an AI image of himself as Jesus Christ healing the sick – surmounted by an American flag, fighter jets and a bald eagle.
It was typical of the AI nonsense regularly amplified by the president’s social media account. But it was a good reminder when one needed it that this is a president and an administration that likes to abuse the name – and image – of the Lord and portray themselves as men of God.
