The viral shirtless “Tarps Off” fan craze that has become a phenomenon at sporting events across the country finally reached much of San Francisco’s Oracle Park on Friday evening SF Giants During a 9-4 loss to the White Sox, fans frantically took off their jerseys.

The movement that He reportedly started in the MLB at Coors Fieldreally started to gain momentum in the eighth inning and it became impossible to ignore as broadcasters Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow caught the trend during the broadcast, making it arguably the most entertaining moment in a game where the Giants gave up nine runs in an inning against Chicago.

A spirited group in the left stand particularly caught the attention of Krukow and Kuiper in the eighth round.

“That group up there was all participating,” said Kuiper happily, as fans in other parts of Oracle Park began following the large group in the left stands and joining in on the trend.

“We have to be a part of it,” Krukow joked.
