The two-year artificial intelligence land grab has begun and Australia has been offered a plot of land

The biggest news in tech is that Anthropic, valued at $1.3 trillion, plans to spend $25 billion to bring its large voice model to Australia, its first market outside the US.

That would mean bringing artificial intelligence researchers to Australia (apparently 50 Australians already work at Anthropic) and buying or building a tonne of data center space.
