A NSW official’s use of a shadow AI tool for housing authority work is unlikely to have compromised decision-making integrity, a review has found.

The Sydney Morning Herald reported late last month that an AI tool was being used to “accelerate” tracking hundreds of housing proposals in the state.

The use of the AI ​​tool as part of the authority’s work was not authorized and a review was launched to determine whether its use had influenced or otherwise influenced planning decisions.
