When’s the last time you visited Google Earth? It’s not exactly as popular as Google Maps when it comes to exploring our planet, and most people who do visit the site probably just spin the globe a few times and move on to something else. However, there are quite a few very cool features—such as Voyager.
Voyager’s curated tours cover everything from space to wildlife
Voyager (which is now just referred to as “guided tours”) used to be accessed by clicking a ship’s wheel icon on the left sidebar of the Google Earth app. That’s no longer how you access this resource, and in fact you’ll see no hint of it in the main Earth app.
Instead, you need to visit earth.google.com/voyager which will take you to this front page where you can choose from a selection of tours built using Google Earth.
