An increasingly bitter redundancy dispute between employees of Australia’s largest listed technology company, WiseTech Global, and its leadership has intensified after workers at its Chinese operations revealed internal communications had been changed to remove any reference to artificial intelligence as a cause of the job losses.
Conflicting communication between employees and company leaders, including CEO Zubin Appoo, seen by The Australian Financial Review, show employees worldwide were sent long-awaited information on Wednesday telling them they will find out on Monday whether they are part of a 2,000-strong round of layoffs.
