John Vanderslice, a well-known indie rock musician, has teamed up with producer James Riotto to form Google Earth and release their debut album “street view” in August. Their lead single “Something Complicated” showcases their shift towards electronic music, with a mix of bleeps, bloops, guitar, and vocal harmonies. Riotto explained that their collaboration was a result of years of pushing each other towards more abstract electronic sounds, culminating in a unique project. The tracklist for the album includes songs like “Leaks in deep waters” and “Tendril Embrace.” “street view” will be available on August 5th through Dimplez.
