Software giant Atlassian is cutting 10 percent of its global workforce, or about 1,600 employees, as the company led by billionaire CEO Mike Cannon-Brookes is hit by AI turmoil.
Cannon-Brookes told employees Thursday morning that AI is changing “the mix of skills we need” and “the number of roles required in certain areas.”
A spokeswoman said about 30 percent of affected employees were based in Australia.
