Telstra’s boardroom gets an AI upgrade to handle data deluge

When Telstra’s board members struggle to remember the details of one of the telco’s many ongoing projects, or need a refresher on one of the areas discussed in mountains of documents months ago, they now have an AI bot to help them.

The new artificial intelligence agent, developed by the company’s joint venture team with technology services giant Accenture, has been in use in the company’s boardroom since February and has already earned its place at the table, according to company secretary Craig Emery.
