AUSTIN, Texas — A tech company with a big presence in Austin has begun laying off hundreds of employees.
Cloud computing company VMware, which has an office in northwest Austin near RM 2222, is cutting 577 jobs, according to a WARN letter sent to the Texas Workforce Commission.
