Take action today: Protect your Oracle database from AI-powered cybersecurity threats

As AI rapidly transforms the cybersecurity landscape, it is also dramatically lowering the barriers for attackers to discover and exploit software vulnerabilities, enabling complex, multi-layered attacks that traditional defenses cannot fully address. In response, Oracle strongly recommends that customers upgrade to a Long Term Support Release, Oracle Database 19c or Oracle AI Database 26ai, starting in 2019 and stay current with the latest release updates April 2026 (RU 19.31 or RU 23.26.2). These RUs include fixes for vulnerabilities identified in leading Frontier AI models such as Anthropic’s Claude Mythos Preview and the OpenAI models through Trusted Access for Cyber. Equally important, organizations update client libraries and drivers to 19c or 26ai, adhere to strict security best practices, and ensure strong network isolation.
