Seoul, November 24 (IANS) South Korea’s Presidential Committee on Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Monday said it will set up a task force to advance AI cooperation with the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The task force will be co-chaired by the Presidential Secretary for AI Policy and Future Planning and the Vice Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), and will serve as a follow-up to bilateral agreements signed last week on the sidelines of a summit between South Korean President Lee Jae Myung and UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the committee said.
The task force will be tasked with establishing a joint public-private implementation system to advance the results of the partnership with the UAE and present substantial investment projects within the year, Yonhap News Agency reports.
