Sony wants the meeting-room screen to do more than sit on the wall waiting for someone to find the right input. Its new BRAVIA Professional Display BZ-P Series has received verified display certification through Cisco’s Collaboration Devices program, creating tighter integration between the displays and Cisco-powered meeting rooms.
The practical goal is to remove some of the fiddling that still comes with hybrid meetings.
When a BZ-P Series display is connected to a compatible Cisco Collaboration Device, the two pieces of hardware can operate as a unified system. That includes automatic configuration, reliable standby and wake behaviour, verified image quality and low-latency performance.
In other words, fewer moments spent wondering why the meeting-room television isn’t cooperating.
