With the launch of Gemini 3.1 Flash Live, Google is launching Search Live globally. Meanwhile, Google Translate’s new headphones experience is now on iOS.
Search Live launched in the US last September. It essentially lets you have a back-and-forth conversation with Google Search. Additionally, Google Lens integration lets you turn on the camera to use the real world as context.
Search Live is leveraging Gemini 3.1 Flash Live’s support for more than 90 languages. The model is also better at pitch, pace, and filtering out background noise to focus on you.
You can launch Search Live from the button next to AI Mode at the top of the Google app. In Google Lens, you’ll see a new “Live” tab after Translate.
