SBS Transit announced that it will be modernising its IT systems using Nutanix’s hybrid multicloud platform. By deploying the Nutanix Cloud Platform, the public transport operator aims to centralise data management, enhance scalability and improve service reliability across its network.

The platform will provide a unified private or hybrid cloud infrastructure with integrated backup systems designed to minimise service disruptions. It will also enable real-time data collection and analytics to support fleet management, route optimisation and passenger-flow monitoring.
In addition, the technology will support the rollout of Internet-of-Things devices across the transport network for automated monitoring, scheduling and maintenance. It will also underpin digital ticketing systems, real-time passenger updates and customer service applications.
