Chinese wearables brand Rokid has officially launched its latest AI and AR smart glasses in Australia.
Rokid’s $1,099 flagship glasses feature dual-eye MicroLED displays, a 12-megapixel camera, open-ear speakers, and four microphones integrated into a lightweight frame that weighs just 49 grams.
The Rokid glasses have a range of AI features, including a voice assistant, object recognition and real-time translation, which can be activated by the on-board assistant via voice commands or manually by tapping and sliding on the frame to navigate menus.
At launch, Rokid Glasses supports live translation for up to 89 languages. Live translations, as well as notifications and other visual elements, appear on the display, which can reach a peak brightness of up to 1,500 nits. The battery supports 24 hours of standby operation or six hours of typical use.
