There is growing pushback against the Microsoft Data Center project coming to St. Joe county near Granger.
A petition is gaining traction, just shy of 1000 signatures in just a few days.
“I think it was important to sort of document people’s voices. It’s kind of hard to illustrate when it’s on like Facebook or social media, so I feel it’s important to sort of like document that,” Petition Organizer Todd Robertson said.
Those voices documented in Todd Robertsons petition.. hoping to stop the Microsoft Data Center from being built in Granger.
That petition nearing 1000 voices telling officials they do not want the data center built.
WSBT 22 asked St. Joseph County Executive Director of Development Bill Schalliol if it will make a difference.
