A recent industry assessment has placed Perplexity AI at the top of the reliability rankings for everyday workplace tasks, outperforming several major AI chatbot competitors including OpenAI’s ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude. The report evaluated leading AI assistants on factors such as hallucination rates, uptime reliability, response consistency, and customer satisfaction, highlighting growing concerns around the accuracy and dependability of AI tools in professional environments.
According to the findings, Perplexity AI achieved the highest overall reliability score of 85 out of 100, supported by a comparatively low hallucination rate of 13 percent and a reported 100 percent uptime during the testing period. The report noted that the platform delivered more consistent and factually reliable responses than many of its larger rivals, positioning it as a preferred choice for routine work-related tasks.
xAI’s Grok secured the second position in the rankings, followed by DeepSeek in third place. DeepSeek reportedly maintained a 14 percent hallucination rate alongside strong uptime performance, further intensifying competition among emerging AI platforms.
