But what has largely been overlooked in this debate is that today AI models of major languages are increasingly being used to compose news summaries, headlines and content that grabs your attention long before traditional content moderation mechanisms can intervene. It’s not about clear cases of misinformation or harmful topics that go undetected without content moderation. What is missing from the discussion is the way in which supposedly correct information is selected, formulated and highlighted, which can influence public perception.
