There is a continuing trend of domestic solutions replacing existing foreign environments in the virtualization infrastructure transitions of financial institutions. This time, the Korea Housing Finance Corporation is transitioning its existing Nutanix-based virtualization environment to Orchestro’s ‘Contrabass’. The approach involves establishing a pilot environment to verify performance and high availability before expanding the scope of application to actual computing systems. Going beyond a simple virtual machine migration, the project involves building an HCI-based environment that integrates computing, memory, and storage management, thereby overhauling the disaster response and resource management systems as well.
AI infrastructure software company Orchestro (CEOs Kim Bum-jae and Kim Young-kwang) has won the Korea Housing Finance Corporation’s ‘Computer System Operation Stability Enhancement Project’ and will enhance the cloud infrastructure based on its server virtualization solution, ‘CONTRABASS’.
