Oracle just posted a quarter that has competitors quietly updating their resumes. The company’s third-quarter 2026 results show total revenue of $17.2 billion, a 22% year-over-year increase driven almost entirely by insatiable demand for cloud computing and AI infrastructure.
The standout number: AI-related infrastructure revenue increased 243% year-over-year. Companies are spending at a pace that suggests AI infrastructure has moved from an “exploratory budget line” to an “existential priority.”
