The largest workforce reduction in Oracle’s 49-year history crossed a legal threshold today, June 1, as the first cohort of U.S. employees reached their official last day of work under federal law Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN).. The exit window runs until June 15th. At this point, Oracle will have completed the separation of an estimated 30,000 employees – approximately 18% of its global workforce – who were notified via email on March 31. For anyone who hasn’t yet signed the separation agreement, the final countdown begins today, and the terms deserve review before a signature hits the page.
