Oracle Corporation ORCL has strengthened its AI infrastructure positioning through a series of announcements in April and May 2026. On May 1, 2026, Oracle entered into an agreement with the U.S. Department of War to provide advanced AI capabilities in classified networks using its 10 cloud regions dedicated to U.S. government customers on DISA IL2 at the Top Secret and Special Access Program levels. An update on May 8, 2026 detailed the launch of OCI Enterprise AI with access to models such as Grok 4.3 and NVIDIA Nemotron 3 Nano Omni, as well as SoftBank’s launch of OCI for a sovereign cloud platform in Japan.
On April 9, 2026, Oracle had introduced the availability of Platinum and Diamond tiers for Oracle AI Database to support mission-critical workloads. Other announcements in April included expanded multicloud connectivity with AWS and a deeper Google Cloud partnership through the Oracle AI Database Agent for Gemini Enterprise.
